The Feminine Principle was founded in July 2016 by poet Danielle Allen (Indigo Poetry), and creative facilitator, Jessica Ball (Creating Meaning). After a serendipitous meeting we discovered a shared love of poetry and a belief in the benefits to personal well-being and development it can bring.
We are passionately committed to developing this project, and contributing to the cultural paradigm shift around gender, identity and well-being.
We are equally concerned about the impact of harmful gender stereotyping on females, males and those who do not wish to be labelled by gender. By exploring the root causes of gender inequality, and challenging harmful gender stereotypes, within a creative and non-judgemental environment we are able to support individuals and groups on a transformative learning journey.
